Order-by dates follow the schedule

14-day lead + 3-day buffer

Drag to slip the schedule and watch the order date follow.

How it works

Add project costs, quantities, and purchase details. Connect QuickBooks or payments from your company account when you use those tools.

  1. Add project costs. Add quantities, supplier timing, orders, deliveries, bids, and invoices to the project.

  2. See order-by dates. PM calculates each date from the schedule and supplier lead time.

  3. Issue the order. Send the purchase order, record arrivals, and review invoices and payments.

  4. Share the right details. Your office sees budgets, suppliers see orders, and clients see invoices you send.

If framing starts on Day 52 and the supplier needs 14 days and your team needs three days to place the order, PM shows Day 35 as the order-by date. If demolition slips six days, PM moves the order-by date to Day 41.
